The Library Board of Directors met at Mrs. Coffin's home at 4:30 P.M.
Mrs. Thornburg explained that she would like to rearrange the magazine section
and nsnbe-s 100 for greater convenience and modernization. The Board agreed
to this arrangement.
There was a discussion of posters put up in the Library by carious outside
groups. It was decided that no posters be permitted.
i1rs. Thornburg asked if teachers should be sent pay letters on lost books.
It was decided that teachers should be treated like other patrons and be
expected to pay for lost books which they have checked out.
Mr. Strahle volunteered to make copies of a letter from Mr. I. S. Boltz concerning
the check out of books to the teachers.
Mr. Strahl>_ recommended that members of the Board appear at a council meeting
to let the Council know how much the Board appreciates their consideration.
Various names were discussed as prospective Board members to fill vacancies
left by Fr. Coverley and Mr. Riddell.
The meeting adjourned.
