HomeMy WebLinkAboutLibrary Board - Minutes - 07/26/1966July 26, 1965 Mrs. 7. C. Coffin presided at tl:e regslar meeting of the City Library Bc -.rd. Minutes of the two previous meetings were read and approved. It was announced that the salaries of these employees will now be paid by tine City rather than partially by the City and Partially by the County. Mr. ':bbber presented the proposed library budget for the nest year. Following discussion, Mr. Strahle moved the budget as prepared by the librarians be changed to provide for grade increases for the employees and to show the bookbinder, cataloger and assistant cataloger as full- time city employees. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Ronco and passed by the Board members. Ms. Nebber recommended that beginning September 1, the check out period for books will be three weeks, non-renewable. Mrs. Ronco moved the adoption of such a policy. Mr. Harvey seconded the motion which was paased. A meeting will be held with the County Library Board on August 3. The meeting adjourned.
