Mrs. V. 0. Coffin presided at the regular meeting of the Fort Collins
City Library Board.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Mrs. Lois Henry has been appointed to the Board to fill Mrs. Coffin's
unexpired term.
Newly elected officers of the Board are: Mrs. Bennett, president;
Mrs. Henry, vice president; and Mrs. Ronco, secretary.
A motion was made by Mrs. Bennett to extend Mrs. 6hiting's appointment
to the staff for one year. The motion was seconded by Mr. Williams and
carried.
There was discussion concerning various funds from book rental and
picture rental, etc. A new guide for city personnel has been published.
In order to clarify the library's position on these matters Mrs. Bennett moved
that the secretary write to the City Attorney. The motion was seconded by
Mr. Williams and carried.
Mr. Webber has estimated the cost of processing new books at $1.10.
The cose at Fort Collins High School is $1.46 per book. Northern Colorado
Processing Center charges $1.30 per book.
A gift was presented to Mrs. Coffin, who has resigned from the Board, in
appreciation for her.services.
The meeting was adjourned.
