The Pert Collins City Library Board met in regular session in the children's room of
7:30 p.m. :;mhers present: Sarah Bennett, Lois Henry, Frank Johnson, David Watrcus,
and Larry ?.ebber and Grace Thornburg of the Library Staff.
New folders were ready, complete with duplicated copies of informational. material,
November mi.rn.it.os, and the city -county agreement for 1973.
Mr. �-?ebher reported the continuing probl.cm of overdue books - that the perccninge
held about the same as circulation increased. City Attorney March had advised that
costs of :mint would pussibly excceLl value of books.
The 1973 city -county agreement was to be corrected by including an April date for a
quarterly payment. Mr. Watrous moved it be approved as corrected. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Johnson and approved unanimously.
It was agreed that on a trial basis the bookmobile should stop at the Senior Citizens`
Center at City Park.
Special programs are being presented on Wednesday evenings on the general subject of
anthropology. The first, on January 24, will be on Indians of Colorado.
Library week will begin April 8. On Tuesday, April 10, Mr. Robert Brown of Denver
will again be the speaker. The meeting will be at Lesher Junior High.
A Story (lour ilorkshop is scheduled April 30-May 1 at Holiday Tnn. This time there
will be a registration fee.
The local story hour director is now Barbara Troxell.
A card was signed to go to Mrs. Ronco who ,,,as unable to be present because of il'_ness.
It was agreed that copies of the surveys of the library and comments by local citizens
should go to the City Council and other civic leaders.
