PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING
AUGUST 21, 1974 - 7:30 P. M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Sarah Bennett, President; David Watrous, Vice -
President; Frank Johnson, Jr.; Wilson Wilmarth; and Robert Burns.
STAFF PRESENT: Larry Webber, Director; Jane Davis, Assistant Director;
and Robert Holzfaster.
Jane Davis was appointed secretary pro tem.
The group dispensed with the reading of the minutes of the previous
meeting.
The Board discussed at length the whole library site situation and
decided to present to the City Council an official report or position
paper on the library site after the report by Barton and Aschman
Consultants is received by the City of Fort Collins.
The 1975.budget was reviewed.
Disposal of the Fort Collins Coloradoan, bound edition, was discussed
and it was decided to discard those from 1.950 on, with an attempt
bein„ made to give them to the Poudre R-1 School District if possible.
Officers were elected for 1974-75. They are;
President Sarah Bennett
Vice -President Wilson Wilmarth
Secretary Frank Johnson, Jr.
The meeting was adjourned.
