BOARD FIE?BERS PRESENT: Sarah Bennett, President Frank Johnson, Jr., Secretary David Watrous ABSENT: Wilson Wilmarth, Vice -Preside Robert Burns FORMER BOAP.D :IEMBERS PRESENT: Lois Henry Louise Ronco LIBRARY STAFF PRESENT: Larry Webber, Director Jane Davis Assistant Director Robert Holzfaster CITY STAFF PRESENT: t Mike Keefe Jim Woods ARCHITECTS PRESENT: Tom Hand PRESS: Floyd Levy, Coloradoan Minutes of the previous meeting were distributed and approved as printed. Tom Hand, architect with Everett/Zeigel Associates, Boulder, re- ported on the public sessions at which the architects met with the DT2 Library Group and with the general public to hear suggestions for the new library. There were twenty-six at the meeting held at 7:30 p.m., January 30th in the Rendezvous R000m, First National Bank. It was announced that the Friends of the Library could accept money for the new library but that no official designation has been made of any one group to collect and hold money. It was announced that Larry Webber would accompany the architects to Cheyenne Wyoming and Greeley Colorado on Friday, February 7th to tour the public library facilities in those communties. It was announced that the annual Story -Time -Workshop will be held April 20, 21, and 22 sponsored by the Friends of the Library, High Plains Public Library System, Colorado. State Library and the Fort Collins Public Library. Jane Davis reported on a meeting of High Plains Public Library System personnel and Larimer County Librarians which was held in Loveland on February 5th to plan a slide series on Larimer County Library Services. Tom Hand announced that site -analysis is in process and also that the Colorado Room is remaining in the schematics of the new library at the present time.
