The meeting was called to order by the board president Sarah Bennett.

Introductions of those present were made.
Sarah Bennett introduced Al Zeigel and Tom Hand, architects for the new
library, who brought everyone up-to-date on the site studies they are
doing on the two proposed library sites. Following this, the Museum
Board left.
Mr. Zeigel presented the board with an adjusted building program reflect-
ing current thinking of the architects and the staff on the space alloca-
tions within the new building. Following this, the architects and city
personnel left.
Mr. Webber announced formation of a Media Advisory Group made up of Preston
Davis, Jim French, Adrian Logsdon from CSU, and Mike Roldan from Poudre
R-1. This group will meet with library staff, library architects, and
Robert Burns from the Library Board for a dinner meeting March 13.
A rough draft of a board policy for new programs was presented to the
board by the staff. This was discussed and a final draft will be prepared
for the next meeting.
Mr. Watrous questioned whether the board wished to reconsider its position
on the site of the new library. The board did not want to do so, but
discussed the possibility of an alternate site.
The meeting was adjourned.
