PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
MINUTES -- SPECIAL MEETING
CALLED TO DISCUSS THE BUILDING
MARCH 19, 1975 -- 7:30 P. M.
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT:
Sarah Bennett, President
Frank Johnson, Jr., Secretary
David Watrous
LIBRARY STAFF PRESENT:
Larry Webber, Director
Jane Davis, Assistant Director

CITY STAFF PRESENT:
Les Kaplan
Mike Keefe
ARCHITECTS PRESENT:
Al Zeigel
Tom Hand
The architects explained to the Board & showed examples of what they were
doing on the illustration of the land -use question in relation to the two
sites. This material will be presented to the City Council in a work
session Tuesday, March 25th, at the new Parks & Recreation warehouse build-
ing at City Park. The presentation is on the agenda for 2:00 p.m.
The architects suggested a public meeting be held showing this site study
material during the week of March 31st. Sarah Bennett advised those present
she would make necessary arrangements for this meeting.
Larry Webber announced April 16th as a tentative date for the Board to meet
with the Media Advisory Group at the CSU Educational Media Center. April
2 is the regular board meeting.
