PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
MINUTES -- REGULAR MEETING
JUNE 4, 1975 -- 7:30 P. M.

The meeting was called to order by Board President Sarah Bennett.
The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved as corrected.
The architects' contract with the city has been modified and signed.
A copy of it is enclosed with these minutes.
Wilson Wilmarth will attend the High Plains Board's annual meeting
at Fort Morgan June 9 if possible.
Tom Hand, Everett/Zeigel Associates, brought the board up-to-date
on the development of the new library building. The site planning
will be done in coordination with Robb and Brenner, Museum architects,
and the City Parks and Recreation Department.
The board was extremely interested in building progress and asked
to be kept up-to-date. They expressed special concern and want
follow-up information on the exterior finish and color, the window
arrangement on the south side of the building, the skylights, the
possibility of a second elevator shaft, and the feasibility of a
dumbwaiter to carry loaded book trucks.
Mr. Brunton spoke to the board briefly on the need for making a
recommendation to the council on furniture consultants at their next
regular meeting.
The meeting was adjourned.
