PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
MINUTES -- REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 3, 1975 -- 7:30 P.M.

The board dispensed with the reading of the minutes of the November meetings, and
the minutes were approved with additions.
Ron Stump, Director of the High Plains Regional Library System, discussed the
Colorado Library System's resolution on library funding in Colorado. The budget
cuts projected for the Colorado State Library and the library systems in fiscal
1976-77 were discussed. Ron then showed a slide -tape production entitled "Larimer
County Libraries in Action".
Tom Hand spoke briefly on the progress of the new building. Mike Keefe distri-
buted copies of his construction report for November, 1975.
Dana Moore reported on the color and furnishings for the new building.
Tom reported on energy use in the new facility. He reported that the building
had been designed using American Society of Heating and Refrigeration and Air-
conditioning Engineering Standards and that it met or exceeded 17 or 18 of these
1975 standards. Bob Burns asked Tom Hand to determine how many air changes would
be made in an hour with the variable air volume system.
Plans for the legislative dinner to be held at the Ramada Inn in Fort Collins,
December 15th at 7:00 p.m. were discussed.
The meeting was then adjourned.
