A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on August 4, 2003 in Municipal Court,
Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney
Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda.
Consent Agenda
The Consent Agenda is intended to expedite the meeting and allow the Authority to spend its time on
important items on an agenda. Items on the Consent Agenda are (1) routine items; and (2) those of no
perceived controversy. Anyone may request that an item be "pulled" off the Consent Agenda and
considered separately. Items pulled from the Consent Agenda will be considered under "Other
Business" at the end of the meeting.
a. Consideration of an Application from the Diamond Peaks Mountain Bike Patrol for a
Special Events Permit at New Belgium Brewing Company, 500 Linden Street.
b. Consideration of an Application from the Latimer County Child Advocacy Center, for
a Special Events Permit at 5529 South Timberline Road.
C. Consideration of an Application from the One West Art Center. dba For Collins
Museum of Contemporary Art, for a Special Events Permit at 201 South College
Avenue.
Judge Lane adopted the Consent Agenda.

Transfer of Ownership of El Tequila College
from Azteca Mexican Restaurant of Wyoming, Inc.,
To El Tequila College Corporation, 238 South College Avenue, Approved
Edith Vargas, representative for El Tequila College Corporation, stated she has attended Liquor
Enforcement Officer Younger's class. She stated they will be focusing on food sales and only be open
until 10:00 p.m. Ms. Vargas briefly described the training her employees have received.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership from Azteca Mexican Restaurant of Wyoming, Inc., to
El Tequila College Corporation, 238 South College Avenue.
Show -Cause Hearing for Casco ITC,
Assistant City Attorney Ablao requested that this hearing be continued to August 18, 2003.
Show -Cause Hearing for SGC&C, Inc.,
dba Tailgate TopjpWs.145 East Mountain Avenue. Continued to August 18, 2003.
Assistant City Attorney Ablao requested that this hearing be continued to August 18, 2003.
Other Business
Pat Glatz, representative for G & R of Rhythms, LLC, dba Rhythms Music Hall & Grill, at 334 East
Mountain Avenue stated he has surrendered his hotel -restaurant liquor license to Deputy City Clerk
Jensen.
