Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on October 20, 2003 in Municipal Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Agenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda. Consent Agenda a. Agenda for Liquor Licensing Authority for 2004. b. Approval of minutes from the September 8. 2003 and October 6, 2003 Liquor Licensing Authority meetings. C. Howes on November 7 and 8. 2003. Judge Lane adopted the Consent Agenda. Consideration of an Application from the Fort Collins Symphony Association for a Special Events Permit Assistant City Attorney Ablao expressed concern that business' open during this event are easily accessible by their clientele. Ms. Jody Johnson, representative for the Fort Collins Symphony Association, stated these concerns have been addressed. Judge Lane approved the Application from the Fort Collins Symphony Association for a Special Events Permit at the Opera Galleria, 123 North College Avenue on November 1, 2003. J- • October 20, 2003 Hearing on a New Application from Shellabella Enterprises, Inc., for a Hotel -Restaurant Liquor License at Domenic's, 931 East Harmony Road, #3, Approved Brian Tessari, representative for Shellabella Enterprises, Inc., was sworn. He briefly described his background. Mr. Tessari stated he has not had any liquor code violations. He stated he has contacted Officer Robert Younger to provide training for his employees. In response to questions from the Judge, Mr. Tessari described the premise. He stated the patio fence is 4 feet tall wrought iron with canvas panels. Mr. Tessari stated the patio is visible from inside the premise. He stated he expects alcohol sales to be approximately 30% of gross sales. Mr. Tessari stated that an employee who violates the liquor code will be immediately terminated. He stated he has the liquor code on premise. Kelly Pietrs, representative for Esquire Petitioning Services, LLC, was sworn. She briefly described the petitioning process. Judge Lane marked petitions as Exhibit 1. Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2003-17 approving a new application from Shellabella Enterprises, Inc., for a hotel -restaurant liquor license at Domenic's, 931 East Harmony Road, #3.
