Regular Meeting - June 20, 2005

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on June 20, 2005 in Municipal Court,
Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that the manager registration of William Selburg as manager of Buffalo
Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 150 East Harmony Road, 2A, has been postponed to July 11, 2005.
Consent Agenda
The Consent Agenda is intended to expedite the meeting and allow the Authority to spend its time on
important items on an agenda. Items on the Consent Agenda are (1) routine items; and (2) those of no
perceived controversy. Anyone may request that an item be "pulled" off the Consent Agenda and
considered separately. Items pulled from the Consent Agenda will be considered under "Other
Business" at the end of the meeting.

Judge Lane adopted the Consent Agenda.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 150 East Harmony Road, 2A
Postponed to July 11, 2005
This was postponed to July 11, 2005.
June 20, 2005
Transfer of Ownership of Canyon Avenue Restaurant,
211 Canyon Avenue, from Canyon Avenue Restaurant and Lounge, LLC to
DSMS Enterprises. LLC and Trade Name Change to Canyon Chop House, Approved
Matt Schump, representative for DSMS Enterprises, LLC, stated he will attend Officer Younger's
training with some of his employees on July 1, 2005. In response to a question from the Judge, Mr.
Schump briefly described his background. He stated he is in the process of hiring a front house
manager. Mr. Schump stated he anticipates opening the restaurant August 1, 2005. He briefly described
the premise. Mr. Schump stated they will be adding a front patio in the future. He stated the interior
will not be significantly different from the previous licensed premises. Mr. Schump stated this
establishment will primarily be a restaurant. He stated patrons that appear to be under 40 will be carded.
Mr. Schump stated that any employee found in violation of the liquor code would receive some form
of disciplinary action. He stated he does not have the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Canyon Avenue Restaurant, 211 Canyon Avenue,
from Canyon Avenue Restaurant and Lounge, LLC, to DSMS Enterprises, LLC and Trade Name
Change to Canyon Chop House, contingent upon proof of training be provided to Deputy City Clerk
Jensen within 30 days and that he has complied with all the requirements associated with his recent
charge within 6 months, amend the rear patio diagram and post an employee on the front patio.
