HomeMy WebLinkAboutGolf Board - Minutes - 02/17/1999Golf Board Minutes February 17, 1999 Page 4 Mindy further noted that the golf pros have put together a good program. Charles Ogren asked about the pickle jars that are to be placed at the pro shops? Henry Fry stated that he will be getting the jars distributed to the pro shops. • Mike Sanders asked if the Golf Division has any unique Y2K considerations that need to be addressed? Jerry noted that the City is doing an excellent job in all areas where we have control. Things where we can't control would be phone systems, etc. An additional concern we have is the HVAC system at the clubhouses. One final note is the City Manager has suggested that staff stay in town over the holiday for potential emergency needs. • Jerry distributed copies of the Golf Board's 1998 Annual Report, which is a concise version of what the Board did during the year. Copies of this report are available at all the clubhouses and will be mailed with each annual pass renewal. • Mindy thanked Bill Bertschy for being our liaison with City Council. Bill has met with Golf Board members individually, in small groups, and has attended our meetings. These actions and his advice all indicate his concern for the issues facing us and the decisions we as a Board must make. ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the Golf Board meeting was made by Byrd Curtis, and seconded by Tom White. The motion was approved (6:0) and the Golf Board meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Alyce D.
