New Business -Handicapped Advisory Council, continued
It's the feeling of the Commission that Council should
allow the Handicapped Advisory Committee to be a separate
Board.
Liebert presented a letter and articles from The Coloradoan
on gay awareness. The letter was a copy of one sent to the
paper and was signed by "A humanist". A phone call was also
made to Liebert from this person asking if the HRC could do
anything on this issue as this person felt that acceptance
of such advertising material was a form of an editorial.
Discussion followed. Liebert will write a letter to
The Coloradoan expressing HRC's concern about their
acceptance of the ad.
