LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES
Regular Meeting - January 23, 2006
1:00 P.M.

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on January 23, 2006 in Municipal Court,
Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there are no changes to the agenda.
Consent Agenda
The Consent Agenda is intended to expedite the meeting and allow the Authority to spend its time on
important items on an agenda. Items on the Consent Agenda are (1) routine items; and (2) those of no
perceived controversy. Anyone may request that an item be "pulled" off the Consent Agenda and
considered separately. Items pulled from the Consent Agenda will be considered under "Other
Business" at the end of the meeting.
a. Consideration of Minutes from January 9, 2006.
Judge Lane adopted the Consent Agenda.
Registration of Todd Jeskulski as Manager
of Carino's Italian, 4235 South College Avenue Approved
Todd Jeskulski, manager applicant, stated he is the general manager. He stated he has been in the
restaurant business for 13 years. Mr. Jeskulski briefly described the training he is required to complete.
He stated the employees are also required to complete extensive training. Mr. Jeskulski stated he is
responsible for training all employees. He stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code
would be terminated.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Todd Jeskulski as manager of Carino's Italian, 4235 South
College Avenue.

Transfer of Ownership of El Burrito,
404 Linden Street, from Connie Godinez,
to El Burrito. Inc.. Approved
Dean Berg, accountant for the licensee, stated he helped prepare the transfer of ownership documents.
He stated that there will be no changes to the premise. Mr. Berg stated there will be no changes to how
the restaurant's operations. Phillip Campbell, representative for the applicant, stated he has been
involved with the restaurant for 23 years. He stated he and Connie Godinez are responsible for training
new employees. Mr. Campbell stated patrons that appear to be 30 and under are carded.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership from Connie Godinez, to El Burrito, Inc.
Show -Cause Hearing for Janette's Pharmacy, Inc.,
dba Park Central Liquors,1624 South Lemay, Continued to February 27 2006
Judge Lane continued the show -cause hearing to February 27, 2006.
Show -Cause Hearing for Father and Son Liquors, LLC,
dba Lemay Liquors, 737 South Lemay Avenue #1132 Stipulation Agreement Approved
Dennis Jensen, representative for Father and Son Liquors, LLC, stated he admits to the violation. He
stated he has purchased software to allow clerks to see the actual age listed on the drivers license.
Dan Preble, employee, stated he made a mistake in selling to the underage person.
Assistant City Attorney Ablao stated the recommended penalty as 15 days, 5 days served (paid fine in
lieu of suspension $1894), 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1) (a) of the
Colorado Liquor Code, permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of
21 years.
Judge Lane stated that the Licensee had until February 6, 2006 to pay the fine.
Judge Lane approved the stipulation agreement as presented for Lemay Liquors, 737 South Lemay
Avenue, #B2.
The meeting adjourned at 1:35 p.m.
