I. The meeting was called to order at 4:47 p.m.

II. Minutes of the previous meeting were tabled until all members have
had a chance to read the minutes.
III. Committee Reports:
A. EEO/AA: No report.
B. Police: No report.
C. CAB: Elaine Boni and Mary Daniel are members of the board.
IV. Education Targets:
Poudre R-1: We have one entry in the essay writting contest from Alex
Neth, a sophomore at FCHS.
Legal: No report.
Handicapped: Elaine discussed difficulty with handicapped accessibility at
local store. She is on the January agenda of the Commission on
Disability to discuss HRC's concerns. We are sensitive to
S. Kirkpatrick's concern's reference interferring with other
Commissions dealing with this area.
University: Karen discussed Fair Housing town meeting being held on CSU's
campus from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. on November 9th, Karen & Elaine will
attend.
Mary reported on the progress of the "Voices" video dealing with
diversity issues.

V. Old Business
A. Work Plan
Steve proposed we send to Susan Kirkpatrick HRC's 1990 Workplan
with amended changes, Workplan approved, moved and seconded.
B. Letter to Religious readers: Approved to be sent. Elaine moved
Lucius seconded.

A. Steve will cmpose a letter to University officials regarding
recent racist incidents on CSU campus.

B. Bill will conduct
a series of workshops on diversity issues for a fee of $10.00.
Motion to write a letter of support & offering assistance to the
CSU Advocacy groups from the Human Relations Commission — Lucius
moved & Karen seconded. Brochures will be included.
C. Steve will write a letter to Marcella Rose regarding attendance at
HRC meetings. It is a concern that we are short two commission
members and are in need of their assistance on committees and
projects currently in existance. Elaine moved & Lucius seconded.
D. The (Steve's) letter to religious leaders will be sent to those
listed in the yellow pages to include all groups represented in the
community. Steve will contact the Interfaith Council to assure
that all groups have been identified to the best of our knowledge.
E. David Lipp was appointed/deputized to represent HRC and hard out
HRC brochures & Fair Housing Town Meeting flyers at the 6:00 p.m.
rally at CSU.
