Done Business Improvement District On -going Business Development Program On -going Development of DDA Brochure Done Business Recruitment On -going Sign Demonstration Project Done Plaza Improvements/Patios Done Market Analysis Update Done Cruising Task Force Done The Opera House Project has been completed and is a magnificent demonstration of workmanship. The major office tenant signed to date is the Latimer County District Attorney. The developer of the Ponderosa Steak House has completed all his contract requirements with the DDA and is waiting for final financing approval. The Visual Arts Center organization has been replaced by One West Contemporary Art Center. The DDA worked actively with Roz Spencer, One West's organizer, and the Community Development Corporation in the acquisition of the Old Post Office building to house the art center. One West completed purchase of the building in early January and plans to be in operation by the end of March. Councilperson Ann Azari was appointed as City Council liaison and Chuck Mabry served as alternate.
