A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on May 3, 2010 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Jenny LopezFilkins, Assistant City Attorney

Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from April 19, 2010.
Registration of Gerard Boyle as Manager of
CB & Potts at Collindale,
1441 East Hotsetooth Road, Approved
Gerard Boyle, manager applicant, stated he has been in the restaurant management business since 1993.
He stated he has been at the C.B. & Potts on Elizabeth for 13 years. Mr. Boyle stated he has not had
a liquor code violation. He stated patrons will be carded at the table, if they appear to be 35 years of
age or younger. Mr. Boyle stated anyone in found of violation of the liquor code is immediately
terminated. He stated that with having a liquor license near C.S.U. campus, has taught them how critical
it is to card patrons, look for signs of intoxication, fake id's., etc.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Gerard Boyle as manager of CB & Potts at Collindale, 1441
East Horsetooth Road.

Registration of Philip Koepf as
Manager of Hampton Inn - Fort Collins,
1620 Oakridge Drive, Approved
Philip Koepf, manager applicant, stated he has just recently moved to this location and that he is TIP's
certified and has been for several years. He stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code
is immediately terminated. Mr. Koepf stated they only serve complimentary beer and wine with hors
d'oeuvre from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Judge Lane approved Philip Koepf as manager of Hampton Inn - Fort Collins, 1620 Oakridge Drive.
Transfer of Ownership of Hamilton's,
214 Linden Street from Hamilton's, LLC to
The Sports eXchange, LLC and
Trade Name Change to The Sports eXchange
Brittney O'Daniel, representative for The Sports eXchange, stated she currently owns a restaurant in
Texas. She stated she has had extensive training in the sale and service of alcohol in Texas and has set
up training for her staff for next week. Ms. O'Daniel stated she is only making cosmetic changes to the
premises. She stated they will be open for lunch and dinner, with a late night menu with appetizers.
Ms. O'Daniel stated everypatron that orders alcohol will be carded. She stated the liquor laws are very
strict in Texas where she has her other license and her employees are trained to make sure they do not
serve underage or visibly intoxicated patrons.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Hamilton's, 214 Linden Street from Hamilton's, LLC,
to The Sports eXchange, LLC and trade name change to The Sports eXchange.
