LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authoritywas held on Monday, March 19, 2001, in Municipal
Court, Justice Center, 201 North College. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Greg Tempel, Assistant CityAttorney
Richard Johnson, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
of Somsakul Santanachote as Manager of
Somsakul Santanachote, manager applicant, briefly described her background. She stated she and her
sister are taking over management of the restaurant. Ms. Santanachote stated she attended the class
offered by Liquor Enforcement Officer Johnson and will require all employees to attend. She stated
she will supervise approximately wait staff. Ms. Santanachote stated she is in the process of acquiring
the State Liquor Code.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Somsakul Santanachote as Managerof SriThai Restaurant, 950
South Taft Hill Road.
Request from DJH, Inc., dba
Diamond Billiards & Pub, 1213 West Elizabeth,
to Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises, Approved
Dan Holcomb, representative for DJH, Inc., stated that an encroachment pemtit is not needed as
the sidewalk is private property.
Assistant City Attorney Tempel stated his objections have been cured by recently submitted
diagrams.
Judge Lane approved the request from DJH, Inc., dba Diamond Billiards & Pub, 1213 West
Elizabeth, to change, alter, or modify the licensed premises.

Consideration of an Application from
the Old Town School of Performing Arts, for
Assistant City Attorney Tempel withdrew his objection to this application.
Michael Gaines, representative for the applicant, briefly described the events. Mr. Gaines stated he
has had no problems with liquor service. He stated wait staff will card patrons at the table.
Liquor Enforcement Officer Johnson stated he is unaware of any issues regarding previous events.
Judge Lane approved the application from the Old Town School of Performing Arts, for March 30,
2001, March 31, 2001, April 1, 2001, and April 4 - 7, 2001 at 328 Remington Street.
