Minutes: The minutes of the last Regular Meeting of August 19, 1987 were approved unanimously, as submitted. Citizen Participation: No citizen participation. Ethics Staff previously distributed a memorandum from Mayor Estrada on ethics. There was some brief discussion, and John Drescher noted for the records that he is in the golf club repair business should that become an issue. There were no other comments. Status of Golf Division Activities Jerry P. Brown updated the Board on various Golf Division activities, as follows: - Horsetooth Road adjacent to Collindale is nearly finished. Two parking places at the east end of the parking lot were lost for drainage reasons. John Drescher thinks a fence along Horsetooth is important to separate the course from the street, and to encourage joggers/walkers to not use the course side of the street. After brief discussion, the Board on a motion by Steve Jouard, seconded by Dan Preble, voted unanimously to request staff to look into the costs associated with fencing the area in question. - The maintenance building area at City Park Nine has been torn down and the renovation is proceeding on schedule for the clubhouse. Jerry requested that two Board members serve as representatives on the interior design of the clubhouse. John Drescher was an original member of the City Park Nine Committee and will continue to serve as will President Zubradt. - Dick Zubradt noted that revenues through September 30 have nearly achieved 100 percent for the year. Jerry stated that this was the second best September on record with only 1983 being slightly better.
