SUMMARY MINUTES
Present: Ray Dixon Martha Trimble
Frank Johnson Gary Hixon
Jack Curfman Ellen Thexton
Charles Hagemeister Deborah Erikson
This was a specially called meeting requested by Mr. Brunton so that the Board
could meet to prepare policies and rates for Lincoln Community Center to have
on the City Council Agenda for June 21.
Shelton Stanfil and Ellen Thexton have gotten together to plan some of the summer
programming. It is the first step in the direction of C.S.U. and the City
working together. The Music Department has now called Mrs. Thexton and asked
if they could work together in regard to programming. Because the Coloradoan
feels that this is such a giant step forward, it is going to editorialize the
fact of C.S.U. and the City working together.
It was suggested to write a letter in the name of the Board to the Coloradoan
thanking them for the editorial and for printing the schedule of the summer
programs throughout the summer.
The Campfire talks start Monday, June 20.
