A Fort Fund funding session was held Wednesday, January 27, 1999
at 4:00 p.m., in the Columbine Room of the Lincoln Center. The
following members were present:
Jennifer Beccard, Fran Johnson, Joan Day,
Corinne Govan, Bruce Hendee and Loren Hooper
Board Members Absent: None
Staff Members Present: David Siever, Lincoln Center
Evan Hyatt, Lincoln Center
Guests: Ayleen Burns
AGENDA
I. Call to order (4:04 p.m.) - Jennifer Beccard
II. Fort Fund Proposals -
For the next four and one-half hours, the Board heard
oral presentations from members of organizations who applied for
Fort Fund support during the first session of 1999. After hearing
the oral presentations, the Board made recommendations to City
Council for funding from the Cultural Development & Programming
and Tourism Accounts. (see attached recommendations)
Joan Day moved to accept the Board's recommendations
for funding.

III. Meeting Dates/Time for 1999
Board members discussed upcoming meeting dates and
times for 1999. It was decided that the Board would continue to
meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at the
Lincoln Center.
IV. City Code change -
The Board discussed the proposed changes to the City
Code as made by the City Attorney's Office. The proposed changes
will go before the City Council on Feb. 16, 1999 for approval.
Joan Day moved to accept the proposed changes to the
City Code with the revisions made by the City Attorney's Office.
