BATTLE OF THE BANDS COMMITTEE REPORT Robin Horak, Farah Inam, Ben Brooks, and Will Smith attended the scheduled sub- committee meeting on October 28. The committee's brainstorming session involved discussion on date (late March or early April), venue (prefer somewhere other than a school), types of music (from performance bands to dance bands who would audition), whether or not to include other types of activities (food vendors, graffiti painting, Youth Advisory Board Mes October 14, 1998 Page 3 carnival events), etc. Local promoters will be contacted for assistance in planning and support.
