Consideration of the agenda - No changes III. Approval of minutes from the meeting of January 20, 1999 Ms. Dale moved to approve the minutes Mr. Sherman seconded Approved unanimously IV. Citizen Participation None V. Multi -Modal Corridor Susanne Edminster, Transportation and Parking Administrator, explained the history of the corridor and the potential impact and uses of the corridor. The first phase started in 1998 and is scheduled to last eight years. $7.1 million has been allocated to complete the first phase of the project. The design phase (master plan) should be completed by the summer of 2000 and will go from Cherry Street to Harmony Road. The project could potentially connect the Front Range. The corridor is projected to have five distinct characters. Approximately $8142 is available in art projects funds from 417 West Magnolia • Fort Collins, CO 80521 ?646 • (970) 221-6735 • FAX (970) 484-0424 the 1998 and 1999 appropriations. After the presentation the board discussed possible options for participation. Ms. Liska-Smith moved to select an artist from the Design Consultants list to serve on the project up to an amount of $8142 Mr. Sherman seconded Approved Unanimously VI. Parking Structure/ Four Corners Ms. Martin updated the board on the progress of the art going into the Mason Street Parking Structure. The bid for the terrazzo floor is still pending. She updated the board on the progress of Andrew Dufford's redesign of the sidewalk pavers and light pole art enhancements. VII. Brown Bag Discussion Ms. Martin suggested that the possibility exists to have an educational brown bag discussion with the artists that are here for the Downtown Art Project. VIII.
