Questions:
CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION/ACTION
Jo Waldo and Kathy Wolfe of the Junior League
discussed possible projects for their
organization.
Mariam discussed an idea for workshops on "the
economics of divorce" suggested by the
Legal/Economic/Gov't committee.
Brownie suggested the JLFC may wish to
collaborate on the proposed Youth Commission.
Other ideas: Carolyn mentioned a Women's Clinic
like the Childrens Clinic.
Carolyn discussed the Senior Center and
facilitated the questions on the input form
Approval of Minutes approved.

proposal

Conflict of Duffy gave an update on the City ordinance and Duffy,
Interest stated that Gerry Horak suggests documentation Mariam and

Basic Needs spoke at Council meeting re: Youth

Commission. Funding is at issue.

Legal/Gov't/Economic met with Linda Hopkins re:
Will keep up
Employer Awards. Other issues of concern: job
the good
equity, City EEOC policy, PIC. Chris reported
work
on her investigation of a public official who
may have harassed female employees
Outreach is planning to provide continued
education and training for the entire
commission.
Other Ideas & Dreams for commission
Duties Carolyn will facilitate November, January &
February (tent)
Brownie will facilitate March, April & May
Womans/Pace Now coordinated by Outreach committee
