requested that the February ueating be desi?uated for the Annual Financial
Reports of both golf courses. ?:f will be possible at this time to have all
reports correlated to present iu their entirety. Regular meetings will be
held in January, February, April, 't,ay, September and October. Bud Crandall.

extra meeting, when necessary. The motion was seconded and received an
affirmative vo'ce from all members.
Mr. Robert Brunton gave all members a ropy of the Boards and Commissions Manuel..
He ask all members .to evaluate all aspects of their respective board to determine
which aspects, in their opinion, are adequate and which need change. The City
Council would like these opinions.. Members will study this and discussion will
be held at she February meeting,. Mr. Brunton told members it is important for
all recommendations and communication& to reach the City Council.
H. R. Phillips volunteered to obtain information which will be helpful to the
Committee which will establish by-laws, rules and operating procedures for
the Golf Board. This Committee will be appointed by the President at the
February meeting.
John Rent reported that repair work must be done on the #5 and f6 holes at
City Park Nine. H. R. Phillips reported the street repairs in this area
were not conducive to the golf course. The Parke and Recreation will aid Sohn
In repairing these for easier maintenance and better golfing.
Tentative plans are being made for a new sprinkling system for City Park Nine.
H. R. Phillips suggested both golf courses have the sa;sa type of system and
explained that this would be advisable and beneficial in many ways. He will
bring to the Board, costs and different construction methods for sprinkling
systems, so the Board may make comparisons. Possibility of wells was not
feasible.
Tom Peck reported that City Park Nine is in good condition and operation
going smoothly. "No skiing" signs have been posted around the course and
H. R. has asked his staff members and the Port Collins Police to ask people
not to ski on the golf course.
A committee of Golf Board members will meet to recommend to the City Council
the acceptance of an order for approximately twenty new golf carts for
Collindale and six for City Park Nine.
Bill Metier reported golf carts had been repaired and chairs in the clubhouse
also repaired. The carpet in the clubhouse will receive badly needed repair.
He reported a burglary attempt at the clubhouse was prevented by the Fort
Collins Police Department.
Nell Johnson old members work is being done on the new office: building

the hoard and scheduled, not to coincide with other events. April was

Plans are In progress to change City Park Pvine's Pro Shop heating system
from, clectrical.to gate.
