October 17, 1967
Tire regular monthly meeting of the Fort Collins Parks and Recreation Advisory
Committee was held on October 17, 1967, at 7:00 p.m.
19r. Cherlas W. Peterson, Chairman, presided. Mr. H. R. Phillips reported that
a letter was being sent to the CS9 Interfrstarnitr Council asking that frater-
nity teams not ure Junior All -America fields vhich are marked for their use in
football because with such continued use the fields get too hard. It van retom-
staded that lire. rallis Hoff, manager of Club Tico, attend every other meeting
of the Advisory Creimittee to report on Club Tice. It was announced that a
financial limit hts been cat for the redecoration of the Club.
The minutas of the Snptember meeting were approved as arrended.

thn recreation office. All recommendations will be forwarded to the City
Council for final action.
Tmme acrival smeatin of the Colorado. bark and Recreation Society will be hold
on Hoverer 10 at Kingma Table in Aurora. Board membera were encouraged to
attend. Nr. Stewart Case told the committee about membership in a Lay Group
for the National Recreation Commission. More information on this will be
available Hater.
Mr. H. R. Phillips reported on the budget and said most requested iteams had
beso approved. A serum of $10,000 is to ba appropriated for a slaRSM fund for
a new youth club. Prevent thinking is that it " mld be better to build a now
club than to twat very much money into remodeling the prasent one because of
time need for storage space currently being, used by the Parks Department in
the present building.
Theirs was mass discussion about future plans for additional recreational
facilities.
The meting was adjourned.
