Discussion re: member missing more than three meetings
Karen Warren discussed the Board's policy on attendance
as it was established on August 24, 1994. The policy states:
If a Board member has three (3) absences in a one year period
(excused or unexcused), staff will send that member a letter
informing them that this issue will be considered at the
next Board meeting. The Board will decide at their next
regular meeting whether or not they will ask for the member's
resignation.
A letter was sent to Board member Ahmed Fallah on Oct.
26, 1995 informing him that he has missed three Board
meetings in the past twelve months and that this matter would
be discussed at the next Board meeting.
Jennifer Beccard moved that the Board ask for the
resignation of Ahmed Fallah and a letter be sent to City
Council regarding this action.
Robin Goette seconded the motion.
Karen Warren asked that copies of all correspondence with
Mr. Fallah also be sent to City Council.
