I. Minutes
Minutes of the last meeting were not approved since many members were
absent to attend the National Association of Women Business Owners Seminar
in Denver. It was decided to conclude our meeting early due to the large
number of absences.
II. Committee Reports
A. Outreach committee
The project on the "Concerning Women" series is continuing. A new
flyer is being put together by Jacque and Vicki Bailey (Larimer County
Voc Tech). The flyer will promote the tapes and list where they are
available for check out and/or viewing; Larimer County Voc Tech;
Women's Center; CSU Office of Women's Programs; Volunteer's Clearing
House (offering private viewing area). The Commission will donate a
set of tapes to Crossroads.
It was asked that as the committees view the tapes, they record the
book titles listed at the end of each tape so a check can be made of
our library to see if we have the books. Please include any
additional resources you think should be listed. (Kay will collect at
the next meeting.)
Tape #5 entitled "Childcare/Motivation" should be changed to
"Balancing Work and the Family" with two parts: (a) childcare (b)
parttime careers. Any other discrepancies should be brought to
Committee's attention.
Janet bbey will serve as the Liaison to Women's Center for Women's
HistorAl Month.

Basic Needs
Enclosed in your packet is the Quality of Life Survey. Jim Banning
has added two additional columns after calculating the percentages of
men and women responding to the Survey. Please look this survey over
carefully and bring questions to the next meeting for the Quality of
Life staff from the City to address. Questions such as methodology of
the survey, income levels of persons answering survey, etc. Also
bring questions you might like to see asked on the next Quality of
Life Survey. (Staff note: This item will be delayed until the
December 7 meeting to accommodate conflicting meeting schedules for
staff.)
