The regular meeting of the C=ission was held in the City Council
Chambers at 3:30 p.m., November 14, 1973.

Minutes of the meetings of September 12 and October 10, 1973, were
approved as distributed.
Mr. Brunton reported or. Cirr plans for cooperating with Care -A -Van.
Mrs. McKeown reported on R.S.V.P. plans and programs for motivating,
training, and placing able senior citi_eas in all typesofjobs on a volunteer,
unpaid basis for four to.elgni hours Ter week They are presently funded with
federal grant plus some local funds. The federal grant is on an annual declining
basis with local support to be ,rc-eased to offset drop -in federal funds.
The Commission endorsed the progra^ and voted to recommend increased
local public support.
Sgt. Fowler gave an interesti^.- aresentation of his program of citizen
protection against crime with eWphanis cn home protection.
