The minutes from the February meeting were approved.
ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON
The ballot for chair:

Bob Willmot got unanimous support.
Bob Willmoft vas formerly Member -at -Large, so election for Member at
Large was Wd.
The ballot for Member -at -Large:

Steve Annear was elected new Member -at -Large.

BY-LAWS
By-laws were discussed. Debbie Kalin made a motion to move the day
of the meeting to the 3rd Monday of each month. Angela seconded the
motion. The motion passed. Debbie Kalin moved to change the time
of meeting to 1:30-3:30pm. Angela Bryne seconded the motion. The
motion passed.
Length of membership before taking office was discussed. Judy
Sayre -Grim moved to have any person running for Chairperson serve
on the Commission for at least one year. Angela Byrne seconded the
motion. The motion passed.
A motion was made by Arne Anderson to change the month for
elections to September. Seconded by Debbie Kalin. Passed.
A motion was made to eliminate the secretary position from the by-
laws by Judy Sayre -Grim and seconded by Ray Sanderson. The motion
passed.
Other discussion was held regarding by-laws. The executive
committee will meet with Mike Gebo and present to the Commission a
proposal for changes.
CCY• UTTEE REPORTS
Ray Sanderson reported on the transportation committee. He reported
that Fort Collins has been chosen for Special Travel Training. An
expert will be here to train people from agencies how train people
with disabilities how to ride a bus.

The lettevs;ot recognition was discussed. It was decided that Debbie
Kalin and Steve Annear would come up with a proposal and present it
to the Commission at the next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
Ray Sanderson reported the bus system is looking at some kind of
"hailing system" for individuals who cannot make it to the bus
stop. Ginny DeHerdt from the ADA task force mentioned a couple
issue being looked at are: the bus needs to stay on schedule and
should this be for only wheelchair users. This committee will keep
COD informed.
Bob Willmot handed out a sample survey regarding different
disabilities. It was discussed that a survey of this kind could be
very useful to CSU, the City, Poudre R-1, Cara -A -Van and Transfort.
A possibility of having the survey go out in the electric bill was
also discussed. Engaging CSU to help tally the results was also
discussed. Mike Gebo will look into what the Commission can do with
regard to budget, pubic relations, etc.
Mike Gebo passed out nomination forms from the Human Relations
Board for outstanding volunteer.
