Mayors Award Breakfast - Debbie Zeigler reported on dates available at the Lincoln Center. Having the breakfast early in October will be a problem because of the sculpture garden construction. Accessibility will be limited to the South side. If the breakfast is held in late October, there won't be a problem. The Commission members said that it was imperative to have it the first week of the month. That is "Employ the Handicapped Week". They asked Debbie Zeigler to call and find another meeting place which would hold approximately 100 people, have audio/visual capabilities, kitchen facility and accessibility. The room will be reserved from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.. Arne Anderson said that he had an idea on the simulations for this year. Instead of the standard way, he would like to have public par- ticipation. He called and found out that Octoberfest will be in Old Towne September 24. He thought this would be a good time to set up simulations and have Columbine Cablevision videotape the event. The video could then be shown at breakfast. Shirley Reichenbach wondered if there would be enough time to edit. Nancy Jackson will call and see about having the video made and report back to the Commission.
