Guest spea)er, Ban Sylvester, Transfort Manager, appeared at the request of
Greg Fink; requesting input from ODD members on ut ch routes to put two
new accessible buses that the City will acquire. don explained that the City
currently has three accessible buses. He Estimated that since 1986, the lift
equipnent has been used for 100 rides. Transfort has even pulled lift
equipped buses from a route and put then on a route where there has been an
individual request, but there has not been a lot of interest shown.
The following is a proposed schedule:
3 large buses - (Hold 29 passengers)
2 small buses - (Hold 19 passengers)
dirge bus - Route 1B - All day
Shall bus - Route 4 - All day
Small bus - Route 5 - All day
Small bus - Route 6 - Peak hours
Tama bus - Paak/switdl Route 4 then small from Route
6 nm-peak haws
The large buses are 1986 models. The small buses are the new noodels. There
are two tie downs on each bus. These will be one back up bus available
equipped with a lift.
Mr. Sylvester asked for feedback from ODD in written form after a consensus
on this schedule is taken at the November meeting.
