APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of the July 28, 2005, meeting were distributed. Michele Hays Johnson moved to table the approval of the July 28, 2005, minutes until the next meeting of the General Employees' Retirement Committee. Bill Switzer seconded this motion. The motion passed unanimously (4- 0). DISCUSSION TOPICS: 1. Plan Philosophy: There were no comments on Plan Philosophy. 2. Update on Summary Plan Description: The City Manager's Office had a four- year plan for increasing the funding levels by $200,000 in 2006; $200,000 in 2007; $200,000 in 2008; and by $100,000 in 2009. 3. Monthly Investment Report: No monthly investment report was available. Chuck Seest hopes to present one at the October meeting. 4. The motion passed unanimously (4-0). TOPICS FOR NEXT REGULAR MEETING The next regular meeting of the Committee will be held on October 13, 2005, at 1:15 p.m. in meeting room 2A at 215 North Mason Street. The Committee's 2004 Annual Report, 2005 Work Plan, and monthly minutes are available at this site. 2005 Meeting Schedule: The regular meeting time for the Committee is at 1:15 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. The regular location is 215 North Mason Street, meeting room 2A.
