Minutes of the regular meeting of December 12, 1991,
approved as published.
Boardmember Anastasio abstained.
Appeal 2019 - 209 Second Street by Jim Kline, Fort Collins Housing
Authority - approved.
The variance would reduce the required lot width from

Zoning Administrator, Peter Barnes, explained this lot was in the

David Herrera of the Fort Collins Housing Authority appeared before
the Board. He stated when they acquired the property they had the
house removed. The house the Fort Collins Housing Authority wants
to move on this lot is now on a lot by Toys R Us. The Authority is
considering putting in a driveway on the lot on 2nd Street.
Barbara Stewart, 217 2nd Street, appeared before the Board. She
stated her house is located on the two lots to the North and is a
homestead house. She was concerned that the property be surveyed so
correct property lines can be established. She was also concerned
about the dead trees on the back of the lot.
David Herrera stated the white fence on the property now will be
removed, they will identify and steak the property lines and they
will trim out the old dead trees.
Benjamin Stewart, 217 2nd Street appeared before the Board. He
stated he was concerned that the house being placed too far north
on the lot and was concerned about the distance between the two
houses.
Boardmember Lancaster gave Mr. Stewart the proposed plot plan. Mr.
Stewart stated he would like to see the house put as far south as
possible on the lot.
Mr. Herrera stated in the plot plan all required setbacks are met.
They did want to put a driveway on the property, and would try to
put the house as far south as possible.
Boardmember Lancaster stated he was pleased with the way the
Housing Authority completed projects in the City, they do an
excellent job.
Boardmember Wilmarth moved to approve Appeal 2019 for the hardship
stated. Boardmember Perica seconded the motion. Yeas: Wilmarth,
Perica, Gustafson, Cuthbertson, Anastasio, Lancaster.

OTHER BUSINESS
Peter Barnes distributed a memo from the Ethics Review Board to all
board members. He also informed the Board that Appeal #2012 has
been remanded back to the Board for a new hearing. It will be heard
on February 13, 1992.
The meeting was adjourned.
Next meeting - February 13, 1992 - City Council Chambers.
