AT 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS
Present: President Ward Fischer, Vice -President crank Ghent, Mayor
Harvey Johnson, Secretary John Bartel, Board Members norman E ans and
Fred Fait.
LeRoy Smith and John Boxber;er of the East Larimer Wu er District
and Rowland-riffith and Clayton Watkins of the Fort uollins-Loveland Water
District were present, also present were Joe ;fanner and Harry m. John
consulting engineers from J. T. Banner and Associa es, Inc. Aftw,r con-
siderable discussion it was agreed that these 'water Districts Thould be
included in the long range Water and ewer study be_ng conducted by
J. T. Banner and Associates.
• At the May 26, 1964 City Council meeting The request for a
6-inch water tap by East Side Lumber Co. was referred to the We er Board
for consideration. After discussion a motion was made by President Ward
Tischer seconded by Vice-rresident Frank Uhent that this application be
denied since Ordii,ance No. 20, 19d) governs the applications for Water
and sewer taps. The motion was put and duly carried by the unanimous
vote of the members.
All a.oard members agreed that the new 15,000,000 gallon reservoir
be flushed, cleaned and filled for storage and use. Should any leaks occur
the reservoir will be emptied into the City's distribution system and
repaired rather than fill for nesting before cleaning.
