Doug Peterson appeared before the Board requesting a Class B
license and certificate. Felix Lee stated Mr. Peterson is
presently building his own home that is scheduled to be completed
theend of August and therefore, lacking one reference.
Mr. Peterson stated he has done construction since he was 13 years
old and completed his first house in 1974. He stated he did
commercial/tenant finish projects in Greeley and Fort Morgan. He
also supervised the building of his father's home. He stated the
reason he is before this Board is that the present house he is

so he can bid on two projects coming up in the near future.
Mr. Peterson stated he has employed and supervised as many as 175
people and also has experience with management, payroll and meeting
deadlines. He stated he was employed in investment banking and
securities for twelve years and negotiated contracts with clients.
Mr. Peterson said he is a licensed realtor.
Board member Cotterman asked Mr. Peterson if he could produce other
documentation for residential work. Mr. Peterson said he could not.
Board member Sutton stated he would like to see Mr. Peterson come
back to this Board after the completion of his current house.
Board member Goldrich moved to postpone this decision until next
month and Mr. Peterson can verify his house is finished and passed
all inspections. Board member Sutton seconded the motion. The
motion passed.
