STAFF PRESENT: Felix Lee

The amended minutes of the July 28th meeting were unanimously approved.
Richard Weicht, Adolf son & Petersen, Inc. applied for a Class A license/
certificate. After reviewing his file the Board felt that his references
did not show experience in projects over five stories. Boardmember Sin -
nett said that his experience was more in the Class B category and made a
motion to approve him for a Class B license/certificate. The motion was
seconded by Boardmember Johnson. Motion carried.
Larry Hodge was present, applying for a Class A certificate for McDevitt
& Street. Mr. Hodge turned in his application at the last minute and
there wasn't time to send for references. He did, however, have certi-
fied letters that he had submitted to the City of Denver. The Board
asked staff if they felt these letters were acceptable. Both Felix Lee
and Debbie Zeigler said that the letters included square footage, dollar
valuation and accurate descriptions of the projects as are included in
our forms. Mr. Hodge-s references included two Class A projects and the
rest were Class B. The Board asked Mr. Hodge if a Class B certificate
would be sufficient to build his project. Mr. Hodge said that it would.
Boardmember McCaffrey made a motion to approve Mr. Hodge for a Class B
certificate. The motion was seconded by Boardmember Johnson. Motion
carried.
Gene Tatum, R. J. Griffin & Company, was unanimously approved for a Class
B license/certificate. He had applied for a Class A license/certificate,
but references showed Class B experience only.
Both Class B applicants, Arrowstone Construction and Tom Frame, were
applying for upgrades from their present Class C licenses. Arrowstone
Construction was approved for the upgrade to a Class B license only. Tom
Frame was approved to upgrade to the Class B license/certificate.

license/certificate. Boardmember McCaffrey made a motion to approve Mr.
Mimm for the Class D and E license/certificate. The motion was seconded
by Boardmember Johnson. Motion carried.
Other Business. There was general discussion by the Board on their pur—
pose as Boardmembers. Felix Lee reminded the Board of the breakfast
before the September meeting and suggested they continue the discussion
when all members are present. Debbie will call and give time and place
information.
The meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
