"A" - "C" Rezoning a Portion of University Acres "A" - "D" FORT COLLINS PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board was called to order by Chairman Ocheltree at 7:35 P. M. Members present were: Robert Ocheltree, Jack Harvey, James Keese, Virgil Magerfleisch, Dr. Robert Lee and G. H. Palmes. Roy Portner was absent. The minutes of the meeting of May 3, 1960, were approved as corrected. A petition and application for the rezoning of the following land, to wit: Considering the North Section line of Section 24, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., as bearing due East and West and with all bearings contained herein relative there- to; Commencing at a point which is 166 feet South of the North corner of said Section 24, thence West 200 feet, thence South 492 feet, thence East 200 feet, thence North 492 feet to the point of beginningg from "A" Residence Zone to "C" Residence Zone Was presented to the Board. A motion was made by Mr. Magerfleisch that this item be tabled until the meeting of July 5, 1960. The motion was seconded by Dr. Lee and declared passed upon the affirmative vote of all members present. A petition and application for the rezoning of a portion of University Acres, described as: A tract of land situate in the SEt of Section 13, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.K., City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, which, considering the East line of said 3W14 as bearing S. 000191 W. and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto,, begins at the Northeast corner of said.SE} and runs thence S.'00019+ W. 765.0011 thence N. 890411 W. 329.38 feet] thence N. 070221, E. 317.65 feet; theme N. 000221 E. 450.00 feet to a point on the North line of said SE4; thence S 890381 E. 290.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.534 acres, more or less; from "A" Residence to "D" Commercial was presented to the Board. After a brief discussion,'a motion was made by Mr. Kassa that it be recommended to the City Council that the request be granted. The motion was seconded by Mr. Palmas and declared passed upon the affirmative vote of all members present. Manley - Mr. Manley and Mr. Schumacher appeared before the Board and presented Schumacher a verbal petition for annexation of approximstely 15 acres of land which AWtion adjoins the South-east portion of the Sheeley Addition. A motion was made by Mr. Palmas that it be recommended to the City Council that the petition be accepted, subject to the land owners filing a formal petition and plat with the City Clerk. The notion Was seconded by Mr. Kassa and declared passed upon the affirmative vote of all members present. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P. M.
