January 5, 1960
The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board was called to order
by Chairman Ocheltree at 7:40 P. M. Members present were: Robert
Ocheltree, Dr. Robert Lee, Roy Portner, Virgil Magerfleisch, Jack Harvey
and G. H. Palmes, Members absent: Janes C. Keese.
Also present were: Robert Richards representing the Mountain States
Telephone Company, Stan Haverfield representing the Public Service
Company, City Engineer Gerald Weiss, William Widdows and Mr. M. L. Deines.
Minutes The minutes of the meetings of December 1 and December 18, 1959,
were approved as presented.

Gentlemen:
It is requested that a public hearing be scheduled at
the regular meeting on January 5, 1960, for the plat of
Indian Hills Subdivision, Third Filing.
It is also requested that the preliminary plat of the
is M. L. Deines Subdivision be placed on the agenda for this
meeting.

Indian Hills The final plat of Indian Hills Subdivision, Third Filing, was
Subdivision presented for consideration. After a brief discussion, it was moved
3rd Filing by Mr. Palms and seconded by Dr. Lee that it be recommended to the City
Council that the plat be approved as presented, subject to the owners
and/or subdividers entering Into a written agreement with the City that
the public improvements, utilities and facilities necessary for the
development of the area being subdivided will be installed in accordance
with the standard specifications of the City. The Chairman declared
the motion passed upon the affirmative vote of all membess present.
M. L. Deines A preliminary plat of the M. L. Deines Subdivision was presented
Subdivision by Mr. Deines. A lengthy discussion was held in regard to the width
Preliminary of Smith Court, and also the set -back of existing residences from
Plat Smith Court. On a motion made by Dr. Lee and seconded by Mr. Palmes
the matter was tabled for further study until the meeting of February 2, 1960.
Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 P. M.
