March 10, 1959
The special meeting of the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board was
called to order by the Chairman, Edward W. Withrow, at 7:35 P. M. Members
present were: John P.'Hartman, James'b. Reese, Palms, H. Pals, Roy A. Portner
and Edward W. Withrow. Dr. Robert M. Lee and Mayor Robert W. Sears entered
the meshing later.
Minutes
The m"utee of the meeting of March 3, 1959, were approved as presented.

Contract for Planning Assistance, date July 1, 1957.

Pioneer
The matter of the Pioneer Cabin, referred to the Board by the City
Cabin
Council, was discussed at length. It.was moved by Mrs Hartman the matter
of the Pioneer Cabin be referred back to the Pioneer Woments Society for
their recommendation of the specific type ,of addition which they desire to
build and recommend that they clear the proposed location and operation
of the building through the City Attorney, The motion was seconded by
Dr. Lee. Upon the'affirmative vote of all members present the Chairman
declared the motion passed.
Hearing The Chairman called for the Hearing on University Acres Second Subdivision:

2nd Subd. NOTICE OF HEAkING
GREETINGS:
Notice of hearing to approve or disapprove a plat submitted to the
Planning and Zoning Board, City of Fort Collins,Colorado, on the 3rd
day of March, A. D. 1959, by Mae;A. Tiley is hereby given.
As grounds for this petition, your petitioners show that the
West half of said block is already in "B" Residential District, and
that for thi proper development of the above described lands it will
be advantageous if said lands be rezoned as herein requested.
Dated at Fort Collins, Colorado, this 5th day of January, A.D. 1959.

Mr.,Portner. moved it be recommended to the City Council that the petition for
rezoning Mills -Yates Resubdiviaion of a portion of Block 1, Person Subdivision
be taken out of "An Residential District and placed in "B" Residential District.
The motion was seconded by; Mr. Neese. The Chairman declared the motion passed
upon the affirmative vote of all members present.'

It was moved by Mr. Neese and seconded by Dr. Lee that the meeting be

situated in the SE4 of Section 13, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of
the 6th P. M., City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado.
Said platison file in the office of the City Engineer, Fort Collins
Municipal Building, Fort Collins, Colorado, and is available for inspec-
tion during regular office houra.

This matter was discussed at length. It was moved by Mr. Reese and seconded
by Dr. Lee that the plat of University Acres Second Subdivision part of the
SE4 of Section 13, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P. M., City of
Fort Collins; Colorado, be approved subject to theapprovalof"utilities and
owners and/or subdividers of the property entering into a written agreew nt
• with the City of Fort Collins that the public'improvemeABI utilities and
facilities necessary for the development of the area being subdivided will be
installed in accordance with the standard specifications of the City, and the
plat be submitted to the City Council with the recommendation that it be
approved subject totheforegoing conditions. The Chairman declared the
motion passed upon the affirmative vote of all members present.
Rezoning The following petition for rezoning, referred to the Board by the City
Kills -Yates Council, Was discussed:

petition that said property be taken out of "A" Residential District and
put into and made*a part of "B" Residential District.
