There is now in preparation a series of pinnninq reports concerning
:Tort Collins and the surrounding area. Harold Baior, city plenning,
consultant, is publishing these reports periodically this year for
the axpress use of the city in drafting .long-range 1alans. According,
to Mr. Beierls contract, these reports Are for the exclusive use of
• the city and may be releaaed for pukXlcatlon enly upon approval of
the Fort Collins Panning AM 7onInj Board.
On behalf of the editors of the Cplbradctn, I sh6vU like to enter
r formal riquest for use of, these pu cations by the_Aewspaper.
If it meets with your apnrovsl, washould-like the following agreement
approved by the Board at its next: sessions
1. 'One copy of esch report shall be given the Coloradcan
for its files, for permanent reference ourposea.

This matter was discussed st length. It was brought up that as federal
funds were being used for these reports, approval from the State Planning
Commission should: be received before allowing the reports released for
publication. Mr. Palmes moved that the matter be studied rand given
thought unt-il next meeting and the matter referred to the State Planning
Commission. The motion was seconded by Mr. Sears. The Chairman declared
the motion nasW upon the affirmative vote of all, members present.
