HomeMy WebLinkAboutPlanning And Zoning Board - Minutes - 10/01/1968• MINUTES OF MEETING PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO October 1, 1968 Call to Order: The meeting of October 1, 1968 was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the Chairman, Don Stuart. Members Present: Marcile Wood, Karl Carson, Chuck Bowling, Don Stuart, Tom Coffey, City Manager, Don Reynolds, Planning Director,Bob Engleke, Assistant Planning Director and Art March, Jr., City .Attorney. Item #1 Approval of minutes from meeting of September 3, 1968. Item #2 #44-68 Consider Rezoning Petition involving 13.161 acres from R-M, Medium Density Residential to R-P, Planned Residential District. Don Reynolds: Presented and explained the zoning. Don Stuart: Asked the purpose. Don Reynolds: Indicated good faith. Don Stuart: Questioned whether the plan had been seen. Don Reynolds: Yes, only in rough form. • Don Stuart: Those in favor (none) - those opposed (none). Karl Carson: Moved approval of the petition. Tom Coffey: Seconded the motion. All Ayes. Other Business: Marcile Wood: Introduced Phyllis Smith and Mrs. Richard Keist from the League of Women Voters. Tom Sutherland: Expressed concern over the proposed sale of the State Board land at Prospect and Shields - asked the Board to give serious thought to the area. Marcile Wood: The meeting at Bennett School indicated that a higher use than R-L would be acceptable. Don Stuart: Asked what if the board doesn't sell the land? Don Moore: Presented Preliminary Plan for the addition to the Foothills Apartments. Adjournment: Marcile Wood: Moved the meeting be adjourned - motion carried.
