HomeMy WebLinkAboutPlanning And Zoning Board - Minutes - 03/14/1967• MINUTES OF MEETING PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD Fort Collins, Colorado Call to Order: Acting Chairman Don Stuart called the meeting to order on March 14, 1967, at 7:30 p.m. Members present: Acting Chairman Don Stuart, City Manager Tom Coffey, Mayor Johnson, Mrs. Wood, Lynn Anduss, Charles Rhoades, Art March Jr., Gene Allen and about 15 citizens. Item #1 Presented recommendations as outlined below: a. Dedication of Collector St. b. Easement for Spring Creek c. Parking and access off the dedicated streets d. Rezone to R-P e. Add fire Hydrants (to 4) f. Increase W. mains to 6" g. Provide storm drainage h. Easements for utilities Motion: Mayor Johnson made motion to approve with conditions. Seconded: Charles Rhoades All Ayes, the motion passed. Item #2 Located and discussed. Bryan is already built to Collector Standard. Motion: 'Mayor Johnson made motion to approve Bryan and 50 foot right-of-way for next street to west. Seconded: Charles Rhoades All Ayes. The motion passed. Item #3 Changes explained from previous. Tom Coffey has asked Art March Jr. to prepare and explain licensing ordinance. Art March stated that this is a possible ordinance -- license mobile home park operators. Fee to be decided compliance to standards is condition of license and renewal of same. PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD 2 March 14, 1967 Abut driveway with access to streets, walk ways provided, other standards, such as sanitation, service buildings. Mr, Coffey; To implement the ordinances these two proposals will need recommendation to Council and hold hearings. Mrs. Leeper: "Will the proposals require conformity to sanitation and similar requirements or will they be required to 'rip out`?" Art March: Some things would require conformance, others would not. Hutchins Doesn't own anything or propose to build anything, but doesn't want to send all campers through the community. Don't sell the occupants short, they are good citizens --usually. Mrs, Leeper; They need licensing to upgrade some of the parks and protect the community. Planning Director; Camping Trailers should not be in the proposed M-M or M-L districts. Mayor Johnson: Examples from Phoenix large parks in that city- 100,000 people live in that area in mobile homes. Motion: Mrs. Wood made motion to approve in principle. Seconded: Lynn Anduss Adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
