Mr. Ronald Strahle spoke as attorney for owners opposing the regv'�St,
giving reasons for their position against and preser-ting a pet: Lion.
Other residents of the vicinity spoke on or asked gc,estions abut th`-
request.
Notions It was moved by Roy Portner seconded b„• Harvey Johnson, to
deny the D. Commercial zoning and recommend annexation os ?,

Residential. Motion was carried by a unanimous vote.

Bill Bartran spoke on this matter, referring to the'.r ever -a. pIan z6'
subdivision development. He also stated water �righ's were bei^., .gib_
tained and would be offered to the City in conncctirn with thi-4 : -zex-
ation.

During presentation, the following conditions on approval were su -

This request was presented and discussed only briefly.
Motion: Dr. Lee moved to recommend annexation, subject to any N ter
rights with the land being made available to the My. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Portner and carried.

The plat of annexation was shown and discussed, with the followi,,
two conditions suggested for the annexation:

a) Any water rights held in connection with the two tracts to be made
available for purchase by the City.
b) Dedication of an additional ten foot strip for right-of-way on
Mulberry Street, south side.
Potion: Mr. Keese made a motion which was seconded iy Dr. Lee and
carried, to recommend annexation subject to conditions a
b above.
Item 9 §36-64
The plat was discussed, with only one condition suggested. The arc,

• Motion: Roy Partner moved, seconded by James Keese to approve the plat
with the above conditions. The motion carried by unanimous
vote.

Item 11 138-64 Following a short discussion this plat was referred back to Mr. Ylavlov

previous plats.
Item 12 j25a64 The various reasons for conditions suggested on this plat were ny;!V"O'
by the Planning Director.
Mr. Jim Allen :represented the owner and spoke in opposition tc;Y -

Motion: Dr. Lae moved to accept the plat, subject to ',ie
conditions:
a) A dedicated access to the east property line for fut•:=re
east -west, oirculation.
b) An easement for Spring Creek, but not a dedication.
c) A dedicated right=ofmway for access to the corner of
Spring Park.
d) The existing easement for 21" sewer trunk line to be in-
dicated on the plat.
e) Utility easements labeled and widths shown on plat,.
f) Signing of the uisual agreements for improving streets
and constructing utilities.
g) A new name for the street since a Park Street already
exists in the City.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Johnson and approved yak
unanimous vote.

Item #0-64 Mr. id ll. Tiiey and Mr. Charles Bowling appeared before the 3oa d and
requested a waiver of regular filing and nearing procedures on Thand r-

The matter was placed on the agenda when Ray Portner moved, seconded
by Harvey Johnson, an! carried by vote to do so.. Fcliovi.na discussion.

provided:

• The motion was carries by unanimous vote.
•Discussion A short discussion took place on the Eighth Annexation., but the
Thunderbird Board did not place it on the agenda or act up on it.
Eighth
The Secretary was instructed to write a letter of appreciation to
Mr. Portner for his many years of service.
