August 25, 1986
The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board was called to order at
6:32 p.m, in the Council Chamber, New City Hall.
Board members present included Tim Dow, Dave Edwards, Sanford Kern, Laurie
O'Dell, Don Crews, Sharon Brown, Linda Lang, and Alternate Bernie Strom.
Planning Staff members present included Elaine Kleckner, Joe Frank, Bob
Wilkinson, Tom Peterson, and Peter Barnes.
Legal Staff was represented by Paul Eckman.
Tom Peterson gave the Consent Agenda. He stated the following items would
be continued to the September meeting: #13-82 OAK RIDGE VILLAGE PUD,
PHASE II - Final; #35-86B CLARENDON HILLS SUBDIVISION PHASE ONE -Final;
#209-78A RIVERSIDE COMMERCIAL PUD, AMENDMENT TO LOTS 4 & 4A -Final.
Mr. Peterson then proceeded to review the Consent Agenda which consisted of

Chairman Dow asked for audience or Board response on any of the Consent
Agenda. No requests were made.
Chairman Dow asked for separate motion to be made on Items 10 and 11 due to
possible conflict of interest of Member Brown. In addition, he requested a
separate motion on Items 4 and 5 due to a personal possible conflict of
interest.
Member Brown made a motion to approve Items 1, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13. Seconded by
Member Kern. Approved 7-0.
Member Kern made a motion to approve Items 10 and 11. Seconded by Member
Crews. Approved 7-0 with Alternate Strom voting in place of Member Brown.
Kern made a motion to approve Items 4 and 5. Seconded by Alte

The first part of this proposal dealt with the definition of Family, which
was tabled from the May meeting.
