Roll Call: Torgerson, Meyer, Gavaldon, Colton. Members Bernth, Carpenter
and Craig were absent.
Staff Present: Blanchard, Eckman, McCallum, Virata, Schlueter, Shepard
and Macklin.
Agenda Review: Director of Current Planning Bob Blanchard reviewed the
Consent and Discussion Agendas:
1. Minutes of the May 6 (Continued), May 20 (Continued),
June 17(Continued), July 1(Continued), August 19 and
September 16 (Continued), 1999 Planning and Zoning
Board Hearings. •
2. Resolution PZ99-11 Easement Vacation.
3. Resolution PZ99-9 Easement Vacation.
4. #16-890 Townhomes at Timber Creek PUD - Final

Member Gavaldon moved for approval of Consent Items 1 (August 19, 1999
only), 2, 3 and 4. Member Torgerson seconded the motion. The motion
was approved 4-0.

Project: Olde Town North — Modification of Standard
Project Description: Request for a modification of Land Use Code Section
4.15(D)(1) that would require limiting single family
housing to a maximum of forty (40) percent of the
geographically distinct district area.
Recommendation: Approval with the following Condition:
The applicant shall submit an application within one year of the approval of
this modification in accordance with Section 2.8.1 of the Land Use Code.
This modification shall only be valid for a period of five 95) years following
such submittal during which time the applicant must obtain final approval
of all Project Development Plans for the entire property. One extension of
this modification may be granted by the Director not to exceed one year in
length. This modification shall only be valid if the project qualifies as an
affordable housing project as defined in the Land Use Code.
This project was appealed to City Council and a verbatim transcript is
attached.
