Aeenda Review:
Delete item #5 (Election of Officers) and item #9 (Northside Aztlan Community Center Update).
Citizen Participation:
Lee Swanson, owner of Ben & Jerry's has been doing The Job Guy workshops for teens. He
developed this workshop about a year ago to bridge the gap between youths and employers. His
two-hour program includes props and proven tricks for teens to get the jobs they want. He
requested the YAB's help in spreading the word about these workshops, the next one of which is
scheduled for November 16 at the Youth Activity Center.
Aeenda:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The election of officers has been tabled until December. Jonathan, Ryan, and Brendon are
interested in the position of chairperson. They, and others interested, should e-mail a paragraph
to Janet Urban iurban@fc¢ov.com that will be included in the distribution of the November
minutes and the December agenda.
