III. Approval of minutes from the meeting of May 21, 2003
Ms. Deanna moved to approve the minutes.
Mr. Howe seconded.
Approved unanimously.
IV. Citizen participation — None
V. Prospect Road Presentation
John Lang and Marc Anderson from the City's Engineering Department presented the Prospect Road Project
to the board. The design for this stretch of Prospect Road will be less traditional to fit into the natural area
that surrounds it. This project was previously identified by the APP Board as a potential site for an entryway
art feature. Locations include the new parking area at the CSU Environmental Learning Center, the new bridge
site, the trail as it approaches the bridge, or at the intersection of Summit View and Prospect. While funding is
currently available, funds for this project could be moved to another road improvement site.
Mr. Sherman motioned to postpone the decision until after the November ballot initiative and to
decide the direction at that time.
Ms. Liska-Smith Seconded.
Approved unanimously.
VI. Staff Reports
Ms. Martin distributed a written report of staff activities since last month's board meeting.
VI. Other business
Mr. Heffernan discussed the upcoming retirements of the Director and Associate Director of the Lincoln
Center. A board member will be invited to serve on the interview panel for the new Lincoln Center Director
position.
